County Service Center Group

How it all began

In 2003 InTelegy partnered with San Mateo County Human Services Agency to make changes in the service delivery of their Medi-Cal program.  San Mateo County was faced with challenges they were unable to tackle alone–how could they prepare to handle an increasing case load with a reduced budget and a requirement to consolidate resources? As experts in service center design, InTelegy led the project to design, build and implement a Medi-Cal Service Center in San Mateo. Since then, InTelegy, in partnership with Santa Clara, Contra Costa, Santa Cruz, Sonoma, San Francisco, Tulare and Solano Counties, have implemented Med-Cal and/or Food Stamp service centers. Santa Barbara and Orange counties are developing their plans and expecting the same great results.

CSCG Mission

Recognizing both a need and a desire to exchange information between counties, InTelegy embarked on establishing a membership organization linking the California counties that have InTelegy designed service centers. The purpose of the County Service Center Group is to link service center administrators and managers from different counties in order to exchange information about successful work processes and discuss processes that require change in order to develop new strategies in a collaborative effort to secure solutions to shared work and personnel related issues.
